Inspired by living in New York and reading Plastic Paper, The Sorry Project began as a simple collection of an everyday object we take for granted; plastic bags. Drawing from their iconic lettering and symbols, the creation of a reusable canvas bag with the same kitschy tone was created. This collection turned into a pet project to photograph something mundane in an editorial light. An icon to a city for a Canadian that apologizes too much.
